PSAT Testing

On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, sophomore and junior students have the option of taking the PSAT. The PSAT requires sign up in the high school office. The $20 fee for the test will be invoiced through FACTS. Students will be excused from class and will take the test in the commons or classroom. The PSAT is an electronic, preliminary SAT test and a National Merit Scholarship qualifying test. Students take the PSAT to receive feedback on strengths and weaknesses on skills necessary for college, to help prepare for the SAT and to enter the competition for scholarships from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. It also provides more experience taking a timed test.
